STAGE JUNIOR WPC CONFIGURATOR
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Manage detailed product and powertrain configurations for current
production vehicles.
Maintain accurate and timely updates to product specifications in WPC
“World Product Configurator” mainframe configuration system
Work closely with Vehicle Product Planning and Program Management to
define configuration impact in development of product actions
Act as first point of contact for downstream configuration system users
Troubleshoot configuration issues
Prepare and maintain Reports
EDUCATION-TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required in engineering management, computer science
or statistics
SKILLS-COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:
Self-starter able to multi-task, prioritize workload, and problem
solve. Customer oriented with strong
organizational and communication skills.
Competencies: Microsoft office suite
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Familiarity with systems and issues related product configuration is
desired
